Your Mouth is Loaded
“Jesus answered and said unto them, Verily I say unto you, If ye have faith, and doubt not, ye shall not only do this which is done to the fig tree, but also if ye shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; it shall be done.”
Matthew 21:21
Your Mouth is Loaded with obstacle-destroying words! The power to move your mountain is in your mouth! Everyone has one mountain or the other in their lives. Yours may be different from your brother’s or sister’s. With faith in your heart, arise and say to the “mountain, be thou removed and be thou cast into the sea!” You can determine what happens in your life! Do you know that you can be satisfied by the fruit of your mouth? The Bible says,
“A man shall be satisfied with good by the fruit of his mouth: and the recompence of a man’s hands shall be rendered unto him.
Proverbs 12:14
Let’s consider 3 facts about words:
1. There is power in words!
“Death and life are in the power of the tongue: and they that love it shall eat the fruit thereof.”
Proverbs 18:21
As a pastor I know the power of words. I know that God confirms whatever I say or declare from my mouth! I am very much aware of the results my words will command, hence my deliberate caution when I speak. The truth is that what you say with your mouth matters a great deal. Do you know that you can be satisfied with health, healing, prosperity, and promotion by what you say? That you can also get a ruptured destiny via your words? Wisdom demands that your mouth must be properly guided and equipped to speak positively, not negatively; constructively, not destructively.
2. Words are seeds!
“Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap.”
Galatians 6:7
Words are seeds! Whatever word-seed you sow into others, you will surely reap a harvest of fruits. Encouraging or edifying words from your mouth to others will procure harvest of same to you. Do you want a happy day? Sow happiness into someone’s day! Do you want people to speak positive words to you? Do same to people around you. Life is about seed and harvest! The Bible says “As the earth remains seed time and harvest shall not cease!”
3. Words can be of faith or fear
“But what saith it? The word is nigh thee, even in thy mouth, and in thy heart: that is, the word of faith, which we preach;”
Romans 10:8
God wants you to speak words of faith, not fear! He wants you to speak words of hope and courage to yourself and others always. David was greatly distressed at a time in his life, because his own people wanted to stone him. But what did he do? The Bible says that he encouraged himself in the Lord. How did he do that? By speaking to his soul: “Why art thou cast down, O my soul? and why art thou disquieted in me? hope thou in God: for I shall yet praise him for the help of his countenance.”
Psalms 42:5
Like David, anytime you are frustrated or distressed, speak something good to your soul!
I decree and declare that your words shall be positive always in Jesus mighty name!
