Enjoying the Help of Man
“Greet Priscilla and Aquila my helpers in Christ Jesus: Who have for my life laid down their own necks: unto whom not only I give thanks, but also all the churches of the Gentiles.”
God designed and fabricated man to help man! We are made to give help and to receive help from man. Do you know that at creation when God created man, no creature of His was found to help man? In Genesis 2:18-20, the Bible says, “And the LORD God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him. And out of the ground the LORD God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof. And Adam gave names to all cattle, and to the fowl of the air, and to every beast of the field; but for Adam there was not found an help meet for him.”
Eve, (the man with a womb) woman was brought forth out of man to help man. The “product” from man was the suitable help for man in all ramifications. Animals could not help man, as it were. As such, it becomes an abuse of creation or abuse of divine purpose for man not to give help or enjoy the help of another man! We fulfil our divine purpose by helping a fellow man. Are you aware that any time God wants to help you, He does it through people? So it is foolhardy to denigrate the vessel through which God uses to help you.
Let’s consider 3 areas you sure need the help of man:
1. Strength and Encouragement
“And Jonathan Saul’s son arose, and went to David into the wood, and strengthened his hand in God.”
You need people in your life that will strengthen and encourage you in order for you to fulfill your purpose in life. Jonathan was there for David at all times, encouraging and strengthening him. You need a Jonathan too!
2. Financial help
“And all they that were about them strengthened their hands with vessels of silver, with gold, with goods, and with beasts, and with precious things, beside all that was willingly offered.”
Like Ezra, you need people that will strengthen your hands with money. Ezra needed so much money to accomplish his assignment of rebuilding the temple in Jerusalem, and the people around him became his financial pillars. May God bless you with financial helpers forthwith!
“And the shepherds came and drove them away: but Moses stood up and helped them, and watered their flock.”
You sure need people that will stand up for you and defend you in times of trouble. Moses stood up and helped the seven daughters of Reuel out of the hand of the shepherds. And Zipporah, his wife became the reward of help which he rendered.
There is always a reward for help which you render to another man!
I decree and declare that you will enjoy the help of man always in Jesus mighty name.
