Enjoying the Fruit of Your Labour
“For thou shalt eat the labour of thine hands: happy shalt thou be, and it shall be well with thee.”
Psalms 128:2
The truth is that not many people out there are enjoying the Fruit of their labour. Many are working but nothing to show for their years of Labour! But our case shall be different in Jesus mighty name! For we have a sure word of prophecy that we shall enjoy the fruit of our labour, that we shall not labour in vain; that in all our labour there is profit. Our labour shall yield great harvest of fruits which will trigger spontaneous joy and celebrations.
In order to labour profitably, you need the grace of God. Without God, your labour will be in vain! The Bible says,
“Except the LORD build the house, they labour in vain that build it: except the LORD keep the city, the watchman waketh but in vain.”
Psalms 127:1
It is the involvement of God in your work or labour that procures prosperity and fruitfulness. It is when you are in partnership with God that you command profit. Apostle Paul prospered in ministry immensely, because he laboured more abundantly than other apostles. But he went on to stress the role of grace! He said, “… yet not I, but the grace of God which was with me.”
(1 Corinthians 15:10)
Let’s consider 3 fruits or profits of labour:
1. Rewards!
“Now he that planteth and he that watereth are one: and every man shall receive his own reward according to his own labour.”
1 Corinthians 3:8
2. Honour!
“Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine.”
1 Timothy 5:17
3. Wealth and Riches
Wealth gotten by vanity shall be diminished: but he that gathereth by labour shall increase.”
Proverbs 13:11
“He becometh poor that dealeth with a slack hand: but the hand of the diligent maketh rich.”
Proverbs 10:4
The end result of your labour – engendered fruitfulness is to support the needy and weak.
“Let him that stole steal no more: but rather let him labour, working with his hands the thing which is good, that he may have to give to him that needeth.”
Ephesians 4:28
“I have shewed you all things, how that so labouring ye ought to support the weak, and to remember the words of the Lord Jesus, how he said, It is more blessed to give than to receive.”
Acts 20:35
I decree and declare that you will truly enjoy the Fruit of your labour in Jesus mighty name.
Yours sincerely,
