Crying out for His Mercy
“And when he heard that it was Jesus of Nazareth, he began to cry out, and say, Jesus, thou son of David, have mercy on me.”
Mark 10:47
Crying out for His mercy is about a plea to God to intervene in your life with a view to providing solutions to your nagging problems and challenges. Your cry for His mercy is a validation of the fact that there is no alternative to God. Are there auspicious seasons or times to cry out for His mercy? Yes, of course! Now let’s consider 5 auspicious seasons to cry out for His mercy:
1. At a time when you are Weak!
“Have mercy upon me, O LORD; for I am weak: O LORD, heal me; for my bones are vexed.”
Psalms 6:2
2. At a time when you are in Trouble!
“Have mercy upon me, O LORD, for I am in trouble: mine eye is consumed with grief, yea, my soul and my belly.”
Psalms 31:9
“Have mercy upon me, O LORD; consider my trouble which I suffer of them that hate me, thou that liftest me up from the gates of death:”
Psalms 9:13
“Turn thee unto me, and have mercy upon me; for I am desolate and afflicted. The troubles of my heart are enlarged: O bring thou me out of my distresses.”
Psalms 25:16-17
3. At a time when you need answers from God!
“Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice: have mercy also upon me, and answer me.”
Psalms 27:7
4. At a time of when you need restoration!
“And I will shew mercies unto you, that he may have mercy upon you, and cause you to return to your own land.”
Jeremiah 42:12
5. At a time when you need forgiveness!
“Have mercy upon me, O God, according to thy lovingkindness: according unto the multitude of thy tender mercies blot out my transgressions.”
Psalms 51:1
“By mercy and truth iniquity is purged: and by the fear of the LORD men depart from evil.”
Proverbs 16:6
“He that covereth his sins shall not prosper: but whoso confesseth and forsaketh them shall have mercy.”
Proverbs 28:13
I decree and declare that you will experience the mercy of God even as you cry out for His mercy in Jesus mighty name.
Yours sincerely,
